Street cleaning vehicle

Special vehicles for economical cleaning of metalled traffic ways and areas, airport runways, etc. In order to achieve effective cleaning it is necessary to use either high water pressure or a large quantity of water with an adequate flushing effect. It is not possible to use high-pressure water for cleaning traffic areas where there is a risk of damaging parked vehicles, glass facades, etc.

The washing device consists of one or several washing beams, which are fitted with flat spray jets and can be swivelled 30° to either side, either hydraulically or pneumatically. Control of the swivel movement and switching the water on and off is performed by means of a control panel in the driving cab (one-man operation) This washing beam can be mounted optionally either in front of the driving cab or between the front and rear axles of the vehicle

OPTIONS:

These vehicles are used primarily in built-up areas. Centrifugal pumps are used with a pumping capacity of approx. 800 l/min at 10 bar. The pump is driven either oil-hydraulically or with a commercially available motor. The washing unit consist of 2 "frog-mouth jets" in front of the driving cab, which can be separately or jointly swivelled through 180°, and, optionally, can be designed for raising and lowering. It is possible to work either with one jet, or with both together. The movability of the jets enables precision cleaning to be carried out. Even house drives etc. at right angles to the direction travel can be cleaned without difficulty. Additional jets are fitted behind the rear axle for cleaning junctions, kerbstones, etc. All water-consuming units can be switched on and off independently. The superstructure units are controlled by means of a control panel in the driving cab (one-man operation)
